WE WANT TO KEEP YOU INFORMED!
We are asking for all home/property owners who have not registered on the MFHOA website (https://mfhoafl.mycommunitysite.app/) to please register. This is your hub to get the latest activities that are going on in the neighborhood, to get a copy of the covenant and by-laws, pay your annual dues, and much more. We want to make sure you are fully informed. If you have any special announcements or acknowledgements you would like to share to the community, please send to mfhoafl@gmail.com so we can add to the Monthly Newsletter.
BEWARE!
Many of you are walkers, joggers or bicyclists in the neighborhood and have brought to the HOA’s attention of a loose dog chasing neighbors at the front entrance off Hwy 90. We have contacted the homeowner to make sure the dog is contained to his property and Animal Control as well. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their neighborhood and feel free to walk or jog without fear. Additionally, we do not want anyone to lose their animal(s) due to not adhering to MFHOA Covenant and By-Laws. As our Neighborhood Watch Chairman, Marvin McMillon, says, “If you see something, say something”. Take pictures or videos of any encounters you may have with animals or encounters you think is informative to the community.
In addition, there has been an alligator sighting in the pond on Oak Grove Lane. The Florida Wildlife Commission has been contacted and an agent is trying to find and trap the alligator. Pease be vigilant in your daily activities in the neighborhood and contact the Neighborhood Watch Chair or any Board member if you see or hear anything of interest to the community.
HIGH UTILITY BILLS?
Many of us have received higher than normal utility bills these past few months! Our HOA President, Harold Thornton, will be meeting with the City of Quincy to lodge a complaint on behalf of homeowners. In this way, our voice is louder and hopefully, the City will listen and respond appropriately. Your assistance is needed in so far as providing the President with the amounts of your bill for the last 6 months by month. The President will prepare a spreadsheet with this information (will not include your name) and share actual data with the City in support of our complaint. Please share this information with our President, Harold Thornton, by email no later than October 1st,, 2022. His email address is: lavicdouged@yahoo.com.
Thanks for your attention and response to this communication. We are truly blessed to have you as neighbors!
We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
